Create a handling method to add to the handling methods available for selection in a Handling Methods task. (For details on this task type, see MRAP Task Type: Handling Methods.)
Handling methods created at Corporate become available for Handling Methods tasks at all local sites using Corporate MRAP values (see Site Settings). Handling methods created at a local site become available for tasks at that site only.
To create a handling method:
Starting at the administrative Handling Methods page (How do I get there?), do the following:
1. In the menu on the left, under MATERIAL REQUEST > Handling Methods, click New Method.
Fields appear for defining the new handling method's properties.
2. In the Method Name field, enter the name of the new handling method.
3. In the Comments field, enter any helpful details on the nature or requirements of this handling method.
4. Click Save.
The new handling method is saved and added to the display. It is now available for selection in Handling Methods tasks.
