Changing Your User Information

If you user account has the "Can Change User Info" option selected (see Administration: Users for details), you can edit the following data for your user account whenever you are logged in:

        Full Name: Your full name.

        ID Number: Your unique user ID number, as appropriate to your company.

        Email: The e-mail address associated with this user account.

        NT User Name: Your network ID (in the domain\username format) that enables you to bypass the Comply Plus login. For details, see Using Single Sign-On.

        Password: Your Comply Plus password, which should be changed regularly for security purposes.

        Locations: The locations most closely associated with your user account (such as the locations where you primarily work). Among other benefits, recording these locations here allows you to easily focus product searches on them.

To change your user information:

Note: This operation requires the "Can Change User Info" option to be selected on your user account; see Administration: Users for details.

Starting at any page within Comply Plus (after logging in), do the following:

1.      Click your name at the right side of the Comply Plus header (above the site name).

A new Change User Info window opens, showing your current user information.

2.      Edit any of the displayed information:

        User Info: Make the desired changes in the fields provided.

Note: When entering an NT User Name, remember it must be in the following format: domain\username

        Password: Enter your current password in the Old field. Then enter your new password in the New and Confirm fields.

        Locations:

        To assign specific locations to your user account: Click Click here to assign Locations to open the site's location tree. In this tree, find and select the desired location(s) (Ctrl+click to select multiple locations), then click OK.

        To add another user's assigned locations to your assigned locations: Click Click here to assign Locations to open the site's location tree. Below the tree, click Select Location by User to open a list of users. Select the user whose locations you want to assign and click OK in the upper right.

        To remove an assigned location: Click its remove () icon.

3.      Click OK in the lower right.

Your changes are saved. The Change User Info window closes.
