MRAP (Material Request & Approval) administration entails managing the resources and data that support your process for requesting new products and evaluating those requests. These administrative tools support everything from the overall process configuration to specific task types. See the following topics for details on viewing and managing these areas of data:
● Container Types: Manage the product container types available for selection in a Container Information task.
● Handling Methods: Manage the product-handling methods available for selection in a Handling Methods task.
● Hazardous Lists and Attributes: Manage the lists of noteworthy chemicals and the assessment options available in a Hazardous Lists, Hazardous Lists (Hits), Hazardous Lists (Misses), Use Restrictions, or Use Restrictions (Misses) task.
● Personal Protective Equipment: Manage items of personal protective equipment (and the categories that organize them) available for selection in a Personal Protective Equipment task.
● Request Priorities: Manage the priorities available for selection during the creation of a new request to indicate the request's level of urgency.
● Request Statuses: Manage the different stages a material request can reach as it is processed through your system.
● Request Types: Manage the types available for selection during the creation of a new request. A request's type determines its default requester tasks, default approver tasks, and which users are automatically informed of its progress.
● MRAP Tasks: Manage the tasks requesters and approvers can use to gather and record the necessary information about a requested product.
● MRAP Task Templates: Manage the pre-defined task lists that can be automatically or manually applied to all appropriate requests.
● Usage Environments, Methods, and Restrictions: Manage the product-usage environments, methods, and restrictions available for selection in a Usage Environments, Methods, Restrictions task.
