Note: This feature requires the Material Request & Approval module licensed at your site.
When you create a request for a product (see Creating Requests), you select its request priority. This is a word or phrase indicating how to prioritize the processing of the request, such as a simple description (examples: Rush; No Rush) or a period of time in which the request must be fully processed (examples: 10-day; 30-day). This selected priority has no impact on how Comply Plus treats the request; it simply informs all users viewing the request, enabling them to prioritize it correctly.
Use the administrative Request Priorities page to view and manage the request priorities defined in your system. Each priority defined here becomes available for selection for any request.
Note: If you are a local site user, whether you see Corporate-defined request priorities on this page depends on your site's Include Corporate Values setting for its Material Request & Approval module configuration (see Site Settings):
● Setting selected: Corporate-created request priorities are visible and available for operations at your local site.
● Setting cleared: Corporate-created request priorities are neither visible nor available. Your site must create its own local items to support its operations.
To view the request
priorities available at your site:
Starting at the Application Administration page (How do I get there?), do the following:
1. In the menu on the left, under MATERIAL REQUEST, click Request Priorities.
The administrative Request Priorities page opens, showing all request priorities available at your site. The Scope column shows the origin of each priority, indicated by one of the following icons:
Priority
was created at Corporate. It is available for operations at any site using
Corporate values (see note for local site users above), but can be edited
or deleted by a Corporate user only.
Priority
was created at your local site. It is available for operations at your
site only, and can be edited and deleted by a local site user only.
2. Optional: To view the comments attached to each priority, select the Show Comments check box in the lower right.
Each priority's attached comments are added to the display. To remove them from the display, clear the Show Comments check box.
If you have permission to manage request priorities, see the following topics for details:
● Creating a Request Priority: Make a new priority available for selection for each request.
● Editing a Request Priority: Change the name and/or comments of any existing request priority that was created at your site.
● Deleting a Request Priority: Permanently remove an obsolete or otherwise unwanted priority.
