Logging In as an Administrator

An administrator is typically any user with permission to edit data in Comply Plus. While view station users can enter Comply Plus without identifying themselves, administrator user accounts require you to enter a user name and password. This has the following benefits:

        Users who do not know both your user name and your secure password cannot enter Comply Plus using your identity;

        Because different administrators may have different permissions within Comply Plus, your user name and password grants you the specific set of permissions intended for you.

Only administrators can login at the Corporate site. View station users can login at local sites only.

To login as an administrator:

Starting at the Login page (How do I get there?), do the following:

1.      In the Language list, select the language in which you want Comply Plus text to appear.

The intrinsic text on the screen changes to the selected language.

2.      Click the Login as Administrator link in the lower right.

The Corporate site is added to the Site list. User Name and Password fields are added to the display.

3.      In the Site list, select the site where you want to login. (To search the list for the desired site, use the search field above the list.)

When you select any non-Corporate site: Below the site list, the selected site's message and links for emailing its administrator appear. (For details on using these links, see Emailing a Site Administrator.)

4.      Enter your User Name and Password.

5.      Optional: To have this page automatically default to this language, site, and user name at this workstation in future, select the Set as Default check box.

6.      Click Login.

You are logged in at the selected site. Your Comply Plus home page (typically, the SDS Search Center) opens. (For details on this setting, see Setting the Comply Plus Home Page.)
