Reporting Facilities

        Form R Regulatory Reporting

        Tier II Regulatory Reporting

Any entity that submits its own regulatory reportswhether a whole site or a separate facility within a site—is defined in Comply Plus as a reporting facility. A variety of regulatory reports (both Form R and Tier II) are easily focused on a single reporting facility; this ensures the report's calculations and output are focused purely on inventory quantities and activities at that facility.

Each reporting facility consists of two main components of data:

        Reporting Facility Type Data: The facility's identification, contact information, and various official properties required by the facility's reporting authority. The exact properties to be entered are determined by the facility's type. Each facility type provides fields for all properties required by the facility's region, agency, or method of reporting. When these properties are entered for the facility, they appear automatically on the corresponding reports. You can create your own facility types (see Administration: Reporting Facility Types), but Sphera provides the following standard ones:

        Federal Rules - Paper Submittal: For facilities that submit Tier II reports by hardcopy (paper) that include the same Section 1 information as the Federal Tier II format.

        Federal Rules - Tier2 Submit: For facilities that submit Tier II reports using the EPA's Tier2 Submit software and do not submit any state-specific information.

        Maine Rules: For facilities that submit Tier II reports to the State of Maine by either hardcopy (paper) or the EPA's Tier2 Submit software.

        Locations: The locations from the site's location tree that lie within the reporting facility. When all such locations are selected for a facility, all reports generated for that facility include inventory quantities and activities from those locations only.
