Note: This feature requires the Chemical Inventory module licensed at your site.
Run an inventory report to generate and view its inventory data for a specific time period at your site. As with reports of other types, you can alter an inventory report's criteria and options to fit your needs for a single run. This does not change the report's saved settings. (To change a report's saved settings, see Editing Inventory Reports.)
Note: Follow the procedure below to run an inventory report a single time. To set an inventory report to run automatically on a regular schedule, emailing each run's output to one or more parties, see Scheduled Reports.
To run an inventory report:
Starting at the Inventory Reports page (How do I get there?), do the following:
1. Click the name of the inventory report you want to run.
The report opens, showing its current saved settings.
2. Optional: To alter the report's settings for this run only, make all desired changes to the settings displayed. For details on a setting, find it in the topic corresponding to the Report Type shown in the upper left:
● Inventory Report Type: Aggregate Chemical
● Inventory Report Type: Aggregate Hazard
● Inventory Report Type: Aggregate Product
● Inventory Report Type: Breach of Threshold
● Inventory Report Type: Building Occupancy
Note: After altering the report's settings for this run, do not click Save. This will update the report's saved settings for this and future runs.
3. In the Date Range fields in the upper right, enter the starting and ending dates of the time period whose inventory data you want to see in the report output.
4. Click one of the following buttons in the upper right:
● Run: Generates the full report output according to the settings currently displayed.
● Errors: Generates a condensed version of the report output, showing only items that contain errors (so they can be quickly identified and addressed). This option is available for Aggregate Chemical, Aggregate Hazard, and Aggregate Product reports only, and requires an Excel format for its output.
The report output is generated and opens in a new window in the selected format.
