Administration: List Matching

List matching is a feature that compares the chemical ingredients in products to a variety of chemical lists—many of them regulatory in nature—to find matches of chemical ingredients to list items. This allows you to identify which products contain ingredients that are cited by chemical lists as regulated, restricted, hazardous, and/or otherwise a source of concern (and are therefore candidates for replacement by safer, less costly alternatives).

Use the following administrative features to view and manage your system's chemical lists and their supporting data:

Chemical Lists: View and manage the chemical lists used in your system's list matching functions.

Use Restrictions: Attach additional notes, warnings, and so on to a chemical list for use in Material Request & Approval (see Material Request & Approval).
