List Matching Reports

Comply Plus includes the standard list matching reports listed below, which show various aspects of your system's chemical lists and the product ingredients cited by those lists. (For details on viewing and managing chemical lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) This report list includes the following for each report:

        Title and format (Crystal or Quick View; see Reports for details on these report formats);

        A description of the report's purpose and output;

        The available criteria you can use to focus the report output on specific data (like entering search criteria to focus a search on specific data);

        Any available options that alter the appearance, format, or effect of the report output.

        Scheduled Reports: Set the report to run automatically on a regular schedule. Available for most (not all) reports listed below.

Chemical Spill Reportable Quantities Lbs/Gal (Crystal)

This report shows SDSs in your system that contain chemical ingredients cited by the US EPA's SARA (Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act) 304 EHS (Extremely Hazardous Substances) and CERCLA (Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act) Lists. (For a complete view of these lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) The report output shows each cited ingredient's CAS number, name, percent high (its highest possible contribution to the product's composition), and RQs (reportable quantities) in both pounds/lbs and gallons.

Available Criteria:

        Common Name: Include only SDSs with common names matching or containing this criterion.

        Manufacturer: Include only SDSs with manufacturer names matching or containing this criterion.

        Locations: Include only SDSs assigned to one or more of these locations.

        File Name: Include only SDSs with file names obeying this criterion.

        Search Corporate: Include SDSs not assigned to your local site.

        Search Archive: Include archived SDSs.

        Search Proprietary: Include proprietary SDSs.

Available Options:

        Export to Excel Format: Generate the report output in a format easily exported from the Crystal Reports Viewer—using the export () icon in the upper left corner of the Viewer—to Microsoft Excel.

Chemical Spill Reportable Quantities (Crystal)

Similar to the previous report, this report also shows SDSs in your system that contain chemical ingredients cited by the US EPA's SARA 304 EHS and CERCLA Lists (see Administration: Chemical Lists for a complete view of these lists), but it shows CERCLA-specific RQ (reportable quantity) data for each cited ingredient:

        RQ (in pounds)

        Statutory RQ (which shows an asterisk (*) for each carbamate waste with a statutory 1-pound RQ)

        RQ for Ingredients (the quantity of product in pounds that must be spilled for the ingredient to exceed its RQ)

Available Criteria:

        Common Name: Include only SDSs with common names matching or containing this criterion.

        Manufacturer: Include only SDSs with manufacturer names matching or containing this criterion.

        Revision Date: Include only SDSs with revision dates obeying this criterion.

        Ingredient: Include only ingredients with names matching or containing this criterion.

        CAS: Include only ingredients with CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Locations: Include only SDSs assigned to one or more of these locations.

        SDS User-Defined: Include only SDSs with user-defined data obeying these criteria.

        File Name: Include only SDSs with file names obeying this criterion.

        Internal ID: Include only SDSs with internal IDs obeying this criterion.

        Language: Include only SDSs written in this language.

        Search Corporate: Include SDSs not assigned to your local site.

        Search Archive: Include archived SDSs.

        Search Proprietary: Include proprietary SDSs.

Available Options:

        2-Line Display: On the report output, include each SDS's file name, language, and internal ID.

Chemical Spill Reportable Quantities (Quick View)

This report is a Quick View version of the previous report, and shows the same data for your SDS's chemical ingredients that are cited by the US EPA's SARA 304 EHS and CERCLA Lists:

        RQ (in pounds)

        Statutory RQ (which shows a Yes for each carbamate waste with a statutory 1-pound RQ)

        RQ for Ingredients (the quantity of product in pounds that must be spilled for the ingredient to exceed its RQ)

Available Criteria:

        Sites: Include only SDSs at these sites.

        Common Name: Include only SDSs with common names matching or containing this criterion.

        Manufacturer: Include only SDSs with manufacturer names matching or containing this criterion.

        Ingredient: Include only ingredients with names matching or containing this criterion.

        RQ: Include only ingredients with RQ values matching or containing this criteiron.

        Statutory RQ: Include only ingredients with statutory RQ values matching or containing this criteiron.

        RQ for Ingred[ient]s: Include only ingredients with ingredient RQ values matching or containing this criteiron.

        Proprietary SDS: Include only proprietary (Yes) or non-proprietary (No) SDSs.

Available Options:

        Export to Excel: Generate the report output as an Excel file.

        Export as tab delimited file: Generate the report output as a tab-delimited text file.

List Contents (Quick View)

This report shows the contents of chemical lists in your system, including each list item's primary chemical name, primary CAS number, and any additional details. If a list item has any chemical names and/or CAS numbers in addition to its primary ones, this is indicated in the output's Additional Criteria column (see criteria below).

Available Criteria:

        IHS Maintained: Include only "standard" chemical lists provided and maintained by Sphera (Yes) or "custom" lists created and maintained by your system's users (No).

        Regulatory List: Include chemical list items from these chemical lists only.

        Chemical Name: Include only chemical list items with names matching or containing this criterion.

        Chemical CAS: Include only chemical list items with CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 1: Include only chemical list items with first field labels matching or containing this criterion.

        List Data 1: Include only chemical list items with first field entries matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 2: Include only chemical list items with second field labels matching or containing this criterion.

        List Data 2: Include only chemical list items with second field entries matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 3: Include only chemical list items with third field labels matching or containing this criterion.

        List Data 3: Include only chemical list items with third field entries matching or containing this criterion.

        Additional Criteria: Include only chemical list items with (Yes) or without (No) additional matching criteria—that is, chemical names or CAS numbers in addition to its primary name and CAS number—that match it to product ingredients in your system.

Available Options:

        Export to Excel: Generate the report output as an Excel file.

        Export as tab delimited file: Generate the report output as a tab-delimited text file.

List Contents and Matches (Quick View)

This report shows the items from chemical lists in your system, including each item's primary CAS number, primary name, and any additional CAS numbers and/or names ("matches") that can also match the item to a chemical ingredient in your system.

Available Criteria:

        Sites: Include only chemical lists locally defined at these sites.

        Regulatory List: Include list items from these chemical lists only.

        IHS Maintained: Include only "standard" chemical lists provided and maintained by Sphera (Yes) or "custom" lists created and maintained by your system's users (No).

        Chemical CAS: Include only chemical list items with primary CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Chemical Name: Include only chemical list items with primary names matching or containing this criterion.

        List Item CAS Matches: Include only chemical list items with additional CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        List Item Chemical Matches: Include only chemical list items with additional names matching or containing this criterion.

Available Options:

        Export to Excel: Generate the report output as an Excel file.

        Export as tab delimited file: Generate the report output as a tab-delimited text file.

List Item Matching Criteria (Quick View)

This report shows chemical list items that have matching criteria: chemical names and/or CAS numbers that match the item to chemical ingredients in your system (in addition to its primary name and CAS number). The report output also shows whether each match is "Absolute and True" (that is, can be safely assumed accurate in all cases) or requiring examination in each case. Any list item without matching criteria is omitted from the report output.

Available Criteria:

        List Name: Include list items from these chemical lists only.

        Listed CAS: Include only chemical list items with primary CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Listed Ingredient: Include only chemical list items with primary names matching or containing this criterion.

        CAS Match: Include only chemical list items with additional CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Ingredient Match: Include only chemical list items with additional names matching or containing this criterion.

        Absolute and True: Include only additional CAS/ingredient matching criteria (see two previous) that are definitely accurate (Yes) or in need of examination in each case (No).

        List Field 1: Include only chemical list items with these first data fields.

        List Data 1: Include only chemical list items with first data field entries obeying this criterion.

        List Field 2: Include only chemical list items with these second data fields.

        List Data 2: Include only chemical list items with second data field entries obeying this criterion.

        List Field 3: Include only chemical list items with these third data fields.

        List Data 3: Include only chemical list items with third data field entries obeying this criterion.

Available Options:

        Export to Excel: Generate the report output as an Excel file.

        Export as tab delimited file: Generate the report output as a tab-delimited text file.

List Matching (Lot) (Crystal)

This report shows lots that contain chemicals cited by chemical lists. (For details on viewing/managing these lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) By default, each section of the report output is devoted to one of the chemical lists you select, and shows each lot containing chemicals cited by that list, including the cited chemical and its contribution to the lot's composition. (You can also group the output by listed chemical instead of list name; see "Listed Chemical Name" criterion below.)

Note: If Comply Plus does not consider a lot ingredient to be an absolutely certain match to a chemical list item, the report output shows the ingredient name highlighted in yellow with an asterisk (*).

Available Criteria:

        Lists: Include only lots containing chemicals cited by these lists. (You must select at least one list.)

        Listed Chemical Name: Include only chemical list items with primary names matching or containing this criterion. (To group the report output by listed chemical name instead of chemical list name, click this criterion's Sort button.)

        Listed CAS: Include only chemical list items with primary CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Location: Include only lots at these locations.

        Product Name: Include only lots with product names matching or containing this criterion.

        Manufacturer: Include only lots with manufacturer names matching or containing this criterion.

        Ingredient: Include only lot ingredients with names matching or containing this criterion.

        Ingredient CAS: Include only lot ingredients with CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Lot Number: Include only lots with lot numbers obeying this criterion.

        Show Inactive Lots: Include inactive lots in addition to active lots.

Available Options:

        Include Location List: Show each lot's current location.

        Include Inactive Locations in Location List: Show each lot's current location (even if that location is inactive).

        Export to Excel Format: Generate the report output in a format easily exported from the Crystal Reports Viewer—using the export () icon in the upper left corner of the Viewer—to Microsoft Excel.

List Matching (Part) (Crystal)

This report shows parts that contain chemicals cited by chemical lists. (For details on viewing/managing these lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) By default, each section of the report output is devoted to one of the chemical lists you select, and shows each part containing chemicals cited by that list, including the cited chemical and its contribution to the product's composition. (You can also group the output by listed chemical instead of list name; see "Listed Chemical Name" criterion below.)

Note: If Comply Plus does not consider a part ingredient to be an absolutely certain match to a chemical list item, the report output shows the ingredient name highlighted in yellow with an asterisk (*).

Available Criteria:

        Lists: Include only parts containing chemicals cited by these lists. (You must select at least one list.)

        Product Name: Include only parts with product names matching or containing this criterion.

        Manufacturer: Include only parts with manufacturer names matching or containing this criterion.

        Ingredient: Include only part ingredients with names matching or containing this criterion.

        Ingredient CAS: Include only part ingredients with CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Part Number: Include only parts with part numbers obeying this criterion.

Available Options:

        Include Location List: Show each part's assigned locations.

        Include Inactive Locations in Location List: Include inactive locations in each part's list of assigned locations.

        Export to Excel Format: Generate the report output in a format easily exported from the Crystal Reports Viewer—using the export () icon in the upper left corner of the Viewer—to Microsoft Excel.

List Matching (SDS) (Crystal)

This report shows SDSs that contain chemicals cited by chemical lists. (For details on viewing/managing these lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) By default, each section of the report output is devoted to one of the chemical lists you select, and shows each SDS containing chemicals cited by that list, including the cited chemical and its contribution to the product's composition. (You can also group the output by listed chemical instead of list name; see "Listed Chemical Name" criterion below.)

List Matching (SDS) with Sites (Quick View)

This report shows SDSs at one or more specific sites that contain chemicals cited by chemical lists. (For details on viewing/managing these lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) This includes the identification of the SDS, its cited ingredient, and the citing chemical list's information on this substance.

Most of the columns of this report output are self-explanatory, with the possible exception of the following:

        Chemical Name: The chemical's name as listed by the citing chemical list. This column corresponds to the Listed Chemical Name criterion described below.

        Chemical CAS: The chemical's CAS number as listed by the citing chemical list. This column corresponds to the Listed CAS criterion described below.

        Ingredient: The chemical's name as recorded in the SDS. This column corresponds to the Ingredient criterion described below.

        Ingredient CAS: The chemical's CAS number as recorded in the SDS. This column corresponds to the Ingredient CAS criterion described below.

        User-Defined Name 1/2/3: The name/label of a chemical list field showing chemical-specific information. (Example: A chemical list that shows the carcinogenicity rating of each listed chemical might have a field named "Carcinogenicity.") A chemical list can have up to three such fields.

        User-Defined Data 1/2/3: The entry in a chemical list field showing chemical-specific information. (Example: In a "Carcinogenicity" chemical list field that shows the carcinogenicity rating of each listed chemical, the entry might be the rating "A3.")

By default, the report output is sorted by chemical list. You can also sort it by listed chemical name using the Sort button of the Listed Chemical Name criterion described below.

Available Criteria:

        Lists: Include only SDSs containing chemicals cited by these lists.

        Sites: Include only SDSs assigned to these sites.

        Listed Chemical Name: Include only chemical list items with primary names matching or containing this criterion.

        Listed CAS: Include only chemical list items with primary CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Common Name: Include only SDSs with common names matching or containing this criterion.

List Matching (SDS) with Sites (Telerik)

This report shows SDSs at one or more specific sites that contain chemicals cited by chemical lists. (For details on viewing/managing these lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.) This includes the identification of the SDS, its cited ingredient, and the citing chemical list's information on this substance.

Most of the columns of this report output are self-explanatory, with the possible exception of the following:

        Chemical Name: The chemical's name as listed by the citing chemical list. This column corresponds to the Listed Chemical Name criterion described below.

        Chemical CAS: The chemical's CAS number as listed by the citing chemical list. This column corresponds to the Listed CAS criterion described below.

        User-Defined Data 1/2/3: The entry in a chemical list field showing chemical-specific information. (Example: In a "Carcinogenicity" chemical list field that shows the carcinogenicity rating of each listed chemical, the entry might be the rating "A3.")

By default, the report output is sorted by chemical list. You can also sort it by listed chemical name using the Sort button of the Listed Chemical Name criterion described below.

Available Criteria:

        Lists: Include only SDSs containing chemicals cited by these lists.

        Sites: Include only SDSs assigned to these sites. (This criterion is available to Corporate users only.)

        Listed Chemical Name: Include only chemical list items with primary names matching or containing this criterion.

        Listed CAS: Include only chemical list items with primary CAS numbers matching this criterion.

        Location: Include only SDSs assigned to these locations.

        Common Name: Include only SDSs with common names obeying this criterion. (In this field, you can enter the same variety of criterion types you can enter in the Common Name field on the SDS Search Center; for details, see Performing an SDS Search.)

        Manufacturer: Include only SDSs with manufacturer names obeying this criterion. (In this field, you can enter the same variety of criterion types you can enter in the Manufacturer field on the SDS Search Center; for details, see Performing an SDS Search.)

        Ingredient: Include only SDS ingredients with names obeying this criterion. (In this field, you can enter the same variety of criterion types you can enter in the Ingredient Name field on the SDS Search Center; for details, see Performing an SDS Search.)

        Ingredient CAS: Include only SDS ingredients with CAS numbers matching this criterion.

        File Name: Include only SDSs with file names obeying this criterion.

        Revision Date: Include only SDSs with revision dates obeying this criterion.

        Internal ID: Include only SDSs with internal IDs matching or containing this criterion.

        Language: Include only SDSs written in this language.

        SDS User-Defined: Include only SDSs with user-defined data obeying these criteria.

        Search Corporate: Include SDSs not assigned to your local site. (This criterion is available to local site users only.)

        Search Archive: Include both active and archived SDSs.

Available Options:

List of Lists (Crystal)

This report shows all chemical lists in your system, including each list's item-specific data fields and footers. For details on viewing and managing the displayed lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.

Available Options:

List of Lists (Quick View)

This report shows chemical lists in your system, including each list's footer and data fields for item-specific information. Unlike the "List of Lists" Crystal report (see previous), this report offers criteria you can use to limit which lists appear in the report output.

Available Criteria:

        Sites: Include only chemical lists available at these sites.

        IHS Maintained: Include only "standard" chemical lists provided and maintained by Sphera (Yes) or "custom" lists created and maintained by your system's users (No).

        List Name: Include only these chemical lists.

        Agency Last Published: Include only lists last published by their respective agencies on dates obeying this criterion. (Applies to Sphera-maintained/standard lists only.)

        IHS Last Revised: Include only lists last updated in Comply Plus by Sphera on dates obeying this criterion. (Applies to Sphera-maintained/standard lists only.)

        List Field 1: Include only lists with these first data fields.

        List Field 2: Include only lists with these second data fields.

        List Field 3: Include only lists with these third data fields.

        List Footer: Include only lists with footers matching or containing this criterion.

        Custom: Include only "standard" chemical lists provided and maintained by Sphera (No) or "custom" lists created and maintained by your system's users (Yes).

Available Options:

        Export to Excel: Generate the report output as an Excel file.

        Export as tab delimited file: Generate the report output as a tab-delimited text file.

Search Lists for Chemical (Crystal)

This report shows chemical list items from any chemical lists available at your site, including any item-specific data provided by each list. For details on viewing and managing the available lists, see Administration: Chemical Lists.

Available Criteria:

        Lists: Include items from these chemical lists only.

        CAS: Include only items with CAS numbers matching or containing this criterion.

        Compound: Include only items with chemical compound names matching or containing this criterion.

Available Options:

        None

Search Lists for Chemical (Quick View)

This report shows chemical list items from any chemical lists available at your site, including any item-specific data provided by each list. Unlike the "Search Lists for Chemical" Crystal report (see previous), this report allows you to enter criteria related to list-specific data fields, allowing you to focus the report on items with certain item-specific data.

Available Criteria:

        List Names: Include items from these chemical lists only.

        Chemical Name: Include only items with chemical names matching or containing this criterion.

        Chemical CAS: Include only items with this CAS number (dashes required).

        List Field 1 Name: Include only items from chemical lists with first data field names matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 1 Data: Include only chemical list items with first data field entries matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 2 Name: Include only items from chemical lists with second data field names matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 2 Data: Include only chemical list items with second data field entries matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 3 Name: Include only items from chemical lists with third data field names matching or containing this criterion.

        List Field 3 Data: Include only chemical list items with third data field entries matching or containing this criterion.

Available Options:
