Note: This feature requires both of the following modules licensed at your site:
● Chemical Inventory
● HandHeld Inventory
Delete an unwanted DSM (Data Station Manager; a representative of a workstation serving as a handheld device docking station) to permanently remove it from your system. If any handheld devices are assigned to the DSM, deleting the DSM automatically does the following:
● Un-assigns the device from the DSM;
● Clears the device's assigned location setting (if it has one).
To delete a DSM:
Starting at the administrative Data Station Manager List page (How do I get there?), do the following:
● In the Action column, click the delete (
) icon of the DSM you want to delete.
A message explains the effects of deleting the DSM and asks for confirmation. If you confirm, the DSM is deleted and removed from the Data Station Manager List page (and from the HandHeld Inventory Site Overview; see HandHeld Inventory Site Overview).
