Emailing a Transaction Collection

Note: This feature requires the Chemical Inventory module licensed at your site.

Email a transaction collection to send an email containing a list of all transaction in the collection to one or more recipients. This email includes:

        Each transaction's description

        Each transaction's type

        Each transaction's product

        Each transaction's location

        Each transaction's quantity

        Optional: An additional email message

This email is sent using the Comply Plus internal email tool, and is not dependent on access to your own standard email application.

To email a transaction collection:

Starting at the Transaction Collection Home page (How do I get there?), do the following:

1.      Click the E-Mail Collection icon in the collection toolbar.

2.      The top of the display describes what transaction data will be sent in your e-mail. Enter e-mail addresses in the To and From fields and enter a Subject for the e-mail. You may also enter e-mail addresses in the CC field or a message in the main text box, though they are not required.

3.      Click the Send button at the bottom of the display.
