Note: This feature requires the following:
● The Chemical Inventory module must be licensed at your site.
● The Crystal Reports Viewer Application and Bar-Code Font must both be downloaded and installed at your workstation. Both are found on the Sphera Fonts and Utilities page. (You can access this page by clicking the links provided on the Lot Label Printing page.)
Lot labels can be generated and printed for each lot in your system, showing its unique lot number, a barcode representation of that lot number, and optional additional data. When printing a lot label, you must select the following:
● Label Format: Determines the label's size, which lot data it includes, and how this data is arranged on the label. If the standard label formats in your system do not fit your needs, contact Customer Care to have a custom label format designed.
● Start Position: The position where the label printing begins on the first page of the printout, allowing you to use up the remainder of a partly-used sheet of peel-off labels. Example: On a sheet of six peel-off labels, the first three (labels 1-3) have already been used. You would enter a start position of 4, which would begin printing at label position 4 (on the first page only), thus using up the remaining labels on that first sheet. When printing onto a fresh sheet of labels, always enter 1 as the start position.
The HandHeld Inventory module enables you to quickly take inventory of on-site lots using a barcode scanner. If your site has the HandHeld Inventory module licensed, use the procedure below to generate and print the required barcode labels. For more information, see Administration: HandHeld Inventory.
Note: Using the procedure below, you can print labels for a single lot. To print labels for multiple lots simultaneously, see Printing Labels for Lots in a Collection.
