When a part collection is established, you can use it to perform the following operations (in addition to the basic collection operations, which are available for collections of all types):
● Adding Parts to a Collection by Part Number: Add any number of parts to a part collection in a single operation using a list of part numbers.
● Emailing a Part Collection: Email a part collection to one or more recipients, including various details of each part in the collection.
● Adding Transactions from a Part Collection to a Transaction Collection: Take all transactions entered for all parts in a collection and add them to a new or existing transaction collection. (Requires the Chemical Inventory module.)
● Selecting Manufacturer Disclosure Ratings for Parts in a Collection: Select manufacturer disclosure ratings for various REACH-related compliance lists for any part in a collection. (Requires the REACH module.)
● Batch Data Operations for Part Collections: Make a specific data change—such as adding user-defined data or a location assignment—to all parts in a collection at once.
