SDS Collections

When an SDS collection is established, you can use it to perform the following operations (in addition to the basic collection operations, which are available for collections of all types):

Adding SDSs to a Collection by ID: Add any number of SDSs to an SDS collection in a single operation using a list of SDS document IDs or file names.

Emailing an SDS Collection: Email an SDS collection to one or more recipients, optionally including its SDSs' text/image files as attachments.

Printing an SDS Collection as an SDS Book: Print one or more SDSs from a collection as a single PDF document, optionally including additional data for each SDS in the book: ingredients, hazard ratings, and so on.

Downloading an SDS Collection: Download a .zip file containing the text/image files of each SDS in a collection.

Adding Transactions from an SDS Collection to a Transaction Collection: Take all transactions entered for all SDSs in a collection and add them to a new or existing transaction collection. (Requires the Chemical Inventory module.)

Batch Data Operations for SDS Collections: Make a specific data change—such as adding a synonym or a location assignment—to all SDSs in a collection at once.
