Note: This feature requires the Chemical Inventory module licensed at your site.
A lot collection can contain any of the lots at your site. When a lot collection is established, you can use it to perform the following operations (in addition to the basic collection operations, which are available for collections of all types):
● Adding Lots to a Collection by Lot Number: Add any number of lots to a lot collection in a single operation using a list of lot numbers.
● Emailing a Lot Collection: Email a lot collection to one or more recipients, including the lot number, product name, and description of each lot in the collection.
● Adding Transactions from a Lot Collection to a Transaction Collection: Take all transactions entered for all lots in a collection and add them to a new or existing transaction collection.
● Printing Labels for Lots in a Collection: Print barcode labels for the lots in a collection; these can be used by the HandHeld Inventory module; see Administration: HandHeld Inventory. (Requires the Crystal Reports Viewer application.)
● Batch Data Operations for Lot Collections: Make a specific data change—such as adding user-defined data or a location transfer—to all lots in a collection at once.
Note: Because lots exist only at specific local sites, lot collections are not available at the Corporate site.
