Note: This operation can be performed by the collection's creator only.
Delete a collection when its grouping of items is no longer useful.
Note: Deleting a collection does not delete the items it contains. These items are removed from the deleted collection, but are otherwise unaffected.
To delete a collection:
Starting at the Collections page (How do I get there?), do the following:
1. Click the tab of the type of the collection you wish to delete: SDS, Part, Lot, Transaction, or Chemical.
The page shows a list of all collections of the chosen type (that you have permission to view).
2. Do either of the following:
● Click the delete (
) icon next to the collection you wish to delete.
● Click the name of the collection you want to delete; this opens the collection's Home page. In the collection toolbar, click the Delete Collection icon.
Note: You can only delete a collection you created. Therefore, these icons appear only for collections you created.
A message asks for confirmation. If you confirm, the collection is deleted.
