Note: This operation can be performed by the collection's creator only.
Add items to a collection when they are useful for the purposes of the collection. The exact procedure for this operation depends on the type of collection and the source of the item(s) being added. See the following list and select the appropriate procedure:
● To add to an SDS collection:
● Adding an SDS to a Collection: Add a single SDS from its SDS Home page.
● Adding SDS Search Results to a Collection: Add one or more SDSs in search results from the SDS Search Center, an SDS search template, or a universal product search.
● Adding SDSs to a Collection by ID: Add one or more SDSs using a list of their document IDs or file names.
● To add to a part collection:
● Adding a Part to a Collection: Add a single part from its Part Home page.
● Adding Part Search Results to a Collection: Add one or more parts in search results from the Part Search Center, a part search template, or a universal product search.
● Adding Parts to a Collection by Part Number: Add one or more parts using a list of their part numbers.
● To add to a lot collection (requires the Chemical Inventory module):
● Adding a Lot to a Collection: Add a single lot from its Lot Home page.
● Adding Lot Search Results to a Collection: Add one or more lots in search results from the Lot Search Center or a universal product search.
● Adding Lots to a Collection by Lot Number: Add one or more lots using a list of their lot numbers.
● Creating Lots: Add new lots to a collection whenever you create multiple lots using any of the following methods:
● Creating Lots by Quick-Start
● To add to a transaction collection (requires the Chemical Inventory, Form R Regulatory Reporting, or Tier II Regulatory Reporting module):
● Adding a Transaction to a Collection: Add a single transaction from its Transaction Home page.
● Adding Transaction Search Results to a Collection: Add one or more transactions in search results from the Transaction Search Center.
● Adding Transactions from an SDS Collection to a Transaction Collection: Take the complete transaction histories of all SDSs in an SDS collection and add them to a transaction collection.
● Adding Transactions from a Part Collection to a Transaction Collection: Take the complete transaction histories of all parts in a part collection and add them to a transaction collection.
● Adding Transactions from a Lot Collection to a Transaction Collection: Take the complete transaction histories of all lots in a lot collection and add them to a transaction collection. (Requires the Chemical Inventory module.)
● To add to a chemical collection (requires the Chemical Inventory module):
● Adding a Chemical to a Collection: Add a single chemical from its Chemical Home page.
● Adding Chemical Search Results to a Collection: Add one or more chemicals in search results from the Chemical Search Center.
